Finchstone Guest House is an ideal jumping off point for those who wish to travel among the many small towns of Northumberland County, visit St Anne's Spa, the spectacular beachesof Cobourg or Prince Edward County. See the Driving Tour highlights (below) to begin your adventure.
Finchstone is a fully renovated and updated 5 bedroom farmhouse (3 are ensuite) with pool and 30 acres of privacy, located down a 100 metre leafy driveway.
The Property is a short stroll to St Anne's Spa. Use your St Anne's Spa day pass or visit Cobourg's stunning beach or golf the amazing Shelter Valley course. Join your friends in this private setting near the St Anne's facilities. Equipped with a pool, bbq and 2 very spacious reception rooms with reading areas plus trails for walking. Guests have exclusive use of this large house with hosts providing a self serve continental breakfast.
While sheltered from the roadway, Finchstone has lovely views to the south. The 3 suites are quite large with views of gardens, farmland, forest & St Anne's Spa with Lake Ontario in the distance. The 2 remaining smaller bedrooms are adjacent but separate from the suites, but with fewer windows. The pool, patio and 3 story tree house are nearby. Â
Driving Tour
Visitors might want to take a driving trip to the many wonderful venues including the pretty towns of Cobourg and Port Hope for dining and shopping. Visit other unique towns such as Warkworth, Stirling, Hastings, Prince Edward County and enjoy the BBQ of Keene. Drive the wonderful, scenic roads around historic Rice Lake.

Enjoy a walk to St. Anne's Food truck and bakery for great food and morning espresso or visit The Lass & Ladle in nearby Grafton which has spectacular food, as do the many fine restaurants & pubs of Cobourg & Port Hope.
The rustic but restored barn with chandeliers & finished pine floors is adjacent to the house and provides a venue for sheltered kids & adult activity. As you enter the front door with your provided door code, you and your friends have use of all of the space including TV room & 2 reception rooms. Hosts are periodically in an adjacent house or available by phone.
